3 injured in Madison wrong-way accident

At least three people in Madison were hospitalized for their injuries after being involved in a car accident caused by a suspected drunk driver, a report from Channel 3000 said on June 7.

Information coming from Madison police revealed that around 7:45 a.m. three vehicles were involved in an accident on Monroe Street, near Gilmore Street. The vehicle driver, 33-year-old Nebuchanezzar Wright, struck two other vehicles while heading east on Monroe and driving in the wrong lane, police said. The injuries sustained by the three persons involved in the crash were not life-threatening, but Wright is facing several charges including drunk driving, driving with a revoked license, and wrong-way driving.
