The vehicle operator suspected of fleeing an accident scene in August and leaving a seriously injured pedestrian unattended to has been arrested and charged, according to reports from January 4.

News sources said 25-year-old Greenleaf resident Andrew Timm is being held responsible for causing serious injuries to a male pedestrian in an accident that happened on Miller Park Way on August 12. The 40-year-old crash victim, whose name was not released, was still receiving treatment at a local hospital as of December for the multiple broken bones and serious head trauma he sustained in the crash. A criminal complaint revealed that Timm hid his vehicle and had it privately fixed after the incident.
