Female driving under the influence arrested in Wisconsin

A female driver who was speeding on a Wisconsin highway was arrested by state troopers after she was accused of driving under the influence, according to CBS 58 on July 7.

Wisconsin State Patrol Waukesha Post reportedly stopped Melanie Lynn Alvarez on southbound I-94 for driving 97 mph on a road with a 70 mph speed limit. Alvarez, 36, was suspected of driving under the influence of intoxicants after she performed a field sobriety test. Aside from the intoxicated driving charge, Alvarez is also facing child endangerment and reckless driving charges. She was later booked at Racine County Jail.
