Secret Service personnel probed after White House DUI incident

Mark Connolly and George Ogilvie are under investigation after a suspected drunk driving crash on the White House property, the Washington Post reported on March 11.

The two Secret Service agents were coming back from a party in downtown Washington D.C. on March 4 when they struck a White House barricade while driving a government vehicle. Spokesperson Brian Leary confirmed the ongoing investigation and assured that appropriate measures would be taken upon its conclusion. The investigation is begin led by the Department of Homeland Security inspector general due to the seniority of the agents’ positions.
