Kenosha driver jailed over fatal accident

A Kenosha driver is facing multiple charges for causing an accident that resulted in one dead and one injured, an article on the Daily Herald reported November 26.

Reckless driving resulting in homicide and an impaired driving charge were filed against Kenneth Szczesny who is currently booked at Lake County Jail. Reports coming from authorities revealed that Szczesny was heading eastbound when he struck a westbound vehicle driven by Gordon Searle, 46. Lake County Coroner, Thomas Rudd, confirmed that Searle died of the serious injuries he sustained from the collision. The male occupant inside Searle’s vehicle was brought to hospital, reports also said. Szczesny is expected to appear in court later in December.

Our sincere condolences go out to the family and friends who are grieving in the unexpected loss of their loved one.
