On Monday, December 9 a Janesville man sustained serious injuries after being struck by a tractor trailer.

According to reports, 46-year-old Dennis Bell got out of his vehicle after his car slid into a guardrail on Monday morning. Bell reportedly walked into a lane of traffic when a northbound semi-tractor trailer struck him on Interstate 39/90.

Bell was transported to Mercy Hospital after sustaining serious injuries. The truck driver was uninjured and identified as 35-year-old Mark Nesson.
