Thousands of motorcycles with defective clutch recalled

American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson is recalling thousands of motorcycles due to a defective clutch system.

At least 29,046 touring motorcycles are affected by the recall. Harley-Davidson explained that the potentially defective hydraulic clutch system may cause an accident and, thus, serious harm to drivers.

Owners were notified not to ride the motorcycles and dealers were advised to stop delivering the recalled motorcycles until the issue has been resolved.

This isn’t the first time Harley-Davidson has recalled vehicles. Two years ago, more than 300,000 motorcycles with defective break lights were recalled.

Operating defective vehicles is extremely dangerous. If you, or someone you know, has been injured from manufacturer negligence in the Madison area contact Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® at (608) 255-6663 to see how our attorneys can assist you.
