Van Dyke uninjured in accident with burning car

According to the California Highway Patrol, television comedian and actor Dick Van Dyke was unharmed after his car caught on fire on a freeway in Los Angeles Monday, August 19. The 87-year-old actor was seen in the driver’s seat of a burning Jaguar on Ventura Freeway before nearby motorists came to pull him out of his car.

Van Dyke was on his way to a dental appointment when he heard an unusual noise coming from his car. Thinking he had a flat tire, he pulled over to the shoulder before smoke started coming out of the car and caught on fire.

Van Dyke did not sustain any injuries, and firefighters immediately put out the fire.

While the cause of this  fire is unclear, many such incidents are the result of automotive defects.  If you have been harmed by an auto defect in Madison, contact the legal team at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® at (608) 255-6663 today to learn more about your legal actions.
