Ten vehicles involved in Wisconsin car crash

Eight cars and two semi-trucks were involved in chain reaction truck accident that occurred Tuesday morning.

According to Wisconsin State Patrol, the accident occurred in Germantown as a semitrailer crossed the center median  and collided with an oncoming vehicle. This collision caused another semi-truck and eight other vehicles to be involved.

Two vehicles were trapped underneath the semi-truck’s bed. One person inside of a trapped vehicle died as a result of the accident. Six other people were also injured. One person was seriously injured and the others suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic was closed in both directions as emergency crews cleared the scene. There was a light rain at the time and police officials are investigating whether or not this caused the crash or not.
