Argument between couple leads to car crash

A woman was driving in Madison Sunday morning when she got into an argument with her boyfriend which led to the vehicle crashing.

According to Madison police, the boyfriend, who was sitting in the passenger seat, pulled the parking brake while the car was traveling at 60 to 70 miles per hour. Once the brake was engaged, the car began to swerve and fishtail before crashing into the concrete median between John Nolen Drive and South Towne Drive.

The couple attempted to flee the scene while a third passenger stayed with the vehicle. The woman was ticketed for operating after revocation, while the boyfriend has been tentatively charged with second-degree reckless endangerment.
