Driver charged with reckless driving after crashing into side of home

A driver was charged with reckless driving and two other charges after he crashed into the gas meter on the side of a home. This then caused a minor gas leak and two city blocks had to be evacuated.

The 19-year-old driver was driving his stepmom’s car, which was originally reported stolen. The man was currently on probation at the time of the accident and on a no-contact order with the residence that he struck. He was then cited for reckless driving, disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle and for endangering safety.
