Officials push for pedestrian access on Hoan Bridge

The City Development Commissioner made a proposal at the planning committee meeting for a pedestrian and bicycle lane to be added to the Hoan Bridge.

He used the Golden Gate Bridge as an example and as a landmark bridge that offers this type of lane in order to make it a tourist destination. Proposals to add pedestrian access has been denied by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation since the bridges existence decades ago.

Pedestrian and bike lanes can be a great way to keep cars and pedestrians away from each other in order to avoid collisions. If you have been injured in a pedestrian accident, you need experienced representation on your side.
