Semi-truck rollover accident causes part of highway to shut down

Multiple lanes of Highway 29 were shut down after a semi-truck rollover accident last week.

The crash occurred at 2:46 a.m. when the semi-truck, that was carrying 36 head of cattle, rolled over after the driver somehow lost control of the vehicle. One lane in each direction of the highway was closed.

According to Wisconsin State Patrol, the eastbound lanes remained closed until almost 10 a.m. The local veterinary clinic was called to scene in order to assist with the loose cattle.
