Two injured in OWI-related crash in Dane County

At least two people suffered injuries recently in Pleasant Springs after an accident involving three vehicles occurred, an article reported on October 19.

Authorities from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office were notified of a vehicular accident on County Road N at 10:19 p.m. Preliminary investigations revealed that 43-year-old driver Gabriel Kerr left the southbound lane and crashed head-on into a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Sylvia Judson coming from the opposite direction. A third vehicle apparently rear-ended Judson’s vehicle after the first collision.

Judson and Kerr were both hospitalized due to non-life threatening injuries they sustained in the crash. The third driver, identified as Ehren Schulz, 40, was not injured in the collision. Deputies stated that Kerr is expected to be apprehended on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) for the fourth time that resulted in an injury.

Sadly, many accidents caused by intoxicated drivers result in serious and sometimes fatal injuries.
