Highway maintenance truck involved in accident

A Highway maintainer truck was plowing snow on the roadway in Pierce County when it was involved in a one-vehicle accident.

The accident occurred as the man was plowing snow on State Highway 63 and the truck struck multiple bridge beams when trying to remove snow from the bridge deck.

After striking the beams, the truck continued on until it hit the guardrail at the bottom of the bridge. When emergency crew arrived to the scene, they removed the play from the truck and it was able to drive away from the scene. One lane of the roadway was closed while the plow was removed.

Inclement weather means that drivers have to pay extra attention to the roadway in order to avoid accidents. If you or a loved one has been injured in an accident, you need experienced representation on your side.
